About

I grew up bi-coastal, living in both California and North Carolina. My childhood was spent drawing and painting which led to a BFA from Appalachian State University, North Carolina. After many years as a graphic designer, book seller, gallerist – I interned and subsequently became Curatorial Assistant for the Asheville Museum of Art. This inspired my return to school, receiving a Master’s in the Arts of Africa, Oceania, and the Americas from the Sainsbury Research Unit at the University of East Anglia in Norwich, England.

I have enjoyed working with private and public collections immensely. Not only do I learn about and work with incredible artworks, I also meet inspiring people and hear their amazing stories. I currently work with a few select artists and collectors in the Asheville area. But, I am also back to books! I am slinging used and rare books on Sundays, writing travel guides with a friend, renovating another house and enjoying the outdoors – gardening and hiking with my two berts – Robert & Albert. Oh, I also have a side gum ball biz.
